The Mental Earth Community aims to provide peer support for adults experiencing mental disorders as well as their friends and family in a safe and secure environment. The site consists of a Support Message Board where you can give and receive peer information and support relating to a variety of mental health disorders, as well as a General Board, Entertainment Board and Administration Board. Several different Live Chat rooms are also available dedicated to different types of discussion and including both impromptu chat as well as scheduled discussions. Members can also access photo galleries, a games arcade and blogging facilities. You need to register on the site in order to participate in any of the community activities. The site is a peer to peer community and moderated by a team of volunteers with personal experience of mental health disorders.
