Beat Panic

Description:

Beat Panic is an iPhone application designed to guide you through a panic attack or raised anxiety. The app consists of a series of flash cards in soothing colours with text that assists you in overcoming the panic attack in a gentle calm manner. The app has been designed to help you cope with a panic attack whilst you are out and about. It can also be used to help in your own home, or wherever you happen to be. Beat Panic aims to give you something to focus on instead of thinking about the changes in your body. It is designed to help you to slow your breathing, reduce your heart rate and release tension. The app also aims to help you to keep worrying thoughts in perspective and remind you what is really happening while helping you to overcome the urge to flee.
