Psych Assist

Description:

Psych Assist is a mobile application designed to be used in conjunction with face-to-face therapy to treat anxiety disorders. The application includes a toolbox of techniques and exercises based on the 'Unified Protocol' - an emotion-focused cognitive behavioural approach. The application can be used to practise techniques as homework between therapy sessions - and you can record notes about thoughts and feelings that can be transmitted back to your therapist. Psych Assist is currently being trialled as part of the 'Facing the Fear' therapy program - but in the future will be available for purchase for any Smartphone device.
