SmokeFree Baby provides advice and techniques under six topic headings to help pregnant women reduce or quit smoking. The app addresses coping with stress, managing cravings, establishing an identity as a non-smoker as well as providing information about the health effects of smoking. Other features include games to use as a distraction from cravings, information about how to access support services and tracking progress.

Outcome Summary:

SmokeFree Baby is currently undergoing testing to determine which modules are of the most benefit to pregnant smokers. The results of this study will inform the development of the app, which will then be tested in a clinical trial.
