Outcome Summary:

In one trial, participants were randomised to receive either the physical activity monitor (PAM) + PAM COACH (tailored, web-based advice) or a single written information brochure with brief general physical activity recommendations.  The PAM intervention was not found to be effective in improving physical activity levels or reducing sedentary behaviour.  No change was found for determinants of physical activity, aerobic fitness or body composition.
