Outcome Summary:

A 2015 randomised controlled trial, comparing the Alcooquizz website to an assessment-only control, indicated that intervention participants showed a significantly greater reduction in drinks per week 6 months after the intervention (IRR = 0.86), along with a significant treatment effect on the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (IRR = 0.93). No differences were found between intervention and control in terms of occasions of binge drinking, nor was there a treatment effect found for number of alcohol-related consequences at 6 months.
