InternetPsykiatri for Social Phobia (Sweden)

Description:

The InternetPsykiatri for Social Phobia program is a 12 week course which focuses on psychoeducation of social phobia and its symptoms, as well as relationships between thoughts, feelings and behaviours. It provides skills training in identifying automatic thoughts and cognitive errors, and challenging these to reduce their impact on anxiety. Further, the program includes behavioural assignments requiring exposure to social situations in order to reduce associated distress. These assignments are accompanied by advice on what to do when they go wrong. InternetPsykiatri for Social Phobia includes interactive quizzes to monitor symptoms, and also includes weekly email support from a professional therapist.
